What does Zumba, the world’s largest and most successful dance-fitness program have to do with local Milwaukee students exercising their minds? PLENTY!

Six local Zumba Instructors have teamed up with Milwaukee’s Pathways to College, a pre-college program for lower-income, first generation college prospect to host a 2½ hour Zumbathon to help raise funds for their reading program and book club.

The Zumbathon will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Recreation Complex, 8800 W. Bluemound Road in Milwaukee, from 1:00p.m. to 3:30p.m. The cost is $15.
